2019-20 Transportation

A Message From Superintendent Brent Bautz

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Our goal is to transport all students in a safe and efficient manner to and from school. In order to accomplish this, the cooperation of students and parents is essential.  The school bus is an extension of the classroom, and passengers are expected to behave as they would in a classroom.  Therefore, the bus driver is entitled to the same respect as given a classroom teacher. Riding the bus is a privilege, which can be denied if bus regulations are not followed.

As we get back into the swing of things, here are a few important reminders for this year:

  • Contact your bus driver directly if your student(s) will not be riding the bus. If you are on Route 5  you will need to contact Harlow’s Bus Service at 456-0003.
  • Bus drivers will not operate the bus over roads that are not properly maintained or on roads or driveways where adequate space is not available to turn the bus around.
  • Students are expected to be on time for the bus.
  • Please communicate with the bus driver first about issues on the bus before contacting the school.

We look forward to another great year of safely transporting your students!

Sincerely,

Brent Bautz

Superintendent
