Winter is upon us and we know how unpredictable the weather is in North Dakota. During inclement weather the following local radio and TV stations will be contacted for school related closures. Local radio stations will also be notified as follows: KDIX -1230 AM, KLTC - 1460 AM, KCAD - 99.1 FM, KZRX –92.1 FM. Tune into the local TV stations: KQCD (NBC) or KXMA(CBS)
If for other reasons school should be closed, students and parents will be notified by note from the administrator. In both incidents, the administration will also send out a message via the school alert system. The RTPSD uses Alert Solutions, that sends mass voice, text, and/or email messages. Phone messages appear on your caller ID as (866)665-4386. If you missed the call you can dial the number to hear the message.
