Spring sports are right around the corner. Here are a few dates to look out for:
-High School Track practice begins March 6th.
-Elementary Volleyball (4-6 grade girls) practice begins March 7th.
-JH Track (grades 6-8 allowed) practice begins March 21st.
Reminder that all athletes competing in grades 4-12 must have a physical completed before their first practice. If you have played a sport previously this school year, you should be good to go!
JH BBB Tourney Bracket
We will have military appreciation night on Thursday, February 2nd for the AB GBB games along with Tuesday, February 7th for the AB BBB games in Richardton.
Veterans will have free admission to the games.
Wear red, white, and blue or camouflage both nights and come out and support our RT athletes!
The C squad girls basketball game on Thursday, February 2nd has been canceled due to opposing team not having enough players for three games. It will be an AB GBB game vs Killdeer beginning at 5:30 pm.
We have added a C squad GBB jamboree on Friday, February 10th at Dickinson High school where we will play both DHS & Heart River. First game will begin at 4:00.
The Raider Booster Club along with the Raider girls and boys basketball teams are hosting a fundraiser for Monte and his family tomorrow evening, January 31st during the boys’ basketball games beginning at 5:30. There will be soup, bars, and garlic bread served in the Richardton cafeteria.

The JH BBB game tonight in Hebron will now begin at 4:00 MT.
Update: The AB GBB games against New Salem scheduled for this evening have been postponed to Saturday, February 11th at 2:00 & 3:30.
All practices after school this evening have been canceled.
Update:The junior high boys basketball game scheduled for today in Killdeer has been canceled.

The JH BBB game in Hazen tomorrow 1/19/23 will begin at 3:00 MT.
There will be AB GBB games when we travel to McIntosh, SD next Tuesday the 24th. JV will begin at 5:00 with varsity to follow.
RTHS Student Council will be putting on a make up movie day tomorrow afternoon during periods 6-8. There will be concessions available for purchase for students in grades 5-12 after lunch so please send money if you would like them to purchase any treats to have during the movie.
It will also be pajama day tomorrow for grades 5-12!

Sports Updates:
Tonight’s GBB games @ Hazen will be ABC beginning at 3:30 MT.
The C squad BBB team will be traveling to Hettinger on Friday the 13th for a tournament. The tournament will continue on Saturday the 14th and games are TBD in either Hettinger or Scranton that day.
The AB BBB teams will travel to Max on Saturday the 14th. It will be 2 quarters of JV followed by varsity beginning at 12:00 MT so make sure you are there early since varsity will start earlier than normal.
We added C squad GBB games on January 19th & 23rd. Games will begin at 4:00 both nights with JV & Varsity to follow.
Reminder that Rainbow Dancers will begin practice this Sunday, January 8th for all students interested.
Group 1 will be grades PreK-2nd from 10:00-11:00 am.
Group 2 will be grades 3rd-6th from 11:00 am-12:00.
Door 14 will be open in the south parking lot of the Richardton school.
Reminder: The after school archery program will begin this Wednesday, January 4th at 5:30 pm with a parent informational meeting in the tech building at RTHS.
It is required to attend this meeting in order for students to participate. It is open for all students in grades 4-12.
JH BBB will practice from 1:00-3:00 next week Monday-Friday in Taylor.
JH BBB practice will be postponed today to 1:00 in Taylor for those who are able to attend since the roads are still closed this morning. If the roads aren’t clear before then, we will send an update canceling it all together.
Sports Update:
There will be no practices allowed today due to no travel advised.
JH BBB will have an additional practice for those who are around and able to attend tomorrow, December 23rd from 9:00-11:00 am in Taylor.
