There will be a volleyball camp offered by our RTPS volleyball coaches on June 26th & 27th in Richardton. Please view the attached link for more information. The Richardton-Taylor School Board invites the public to participate in a school demographic planning meeting in accordance with NDCC 15.1-07-26. This open public meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 6:30 PM at Richardton-Taylor High School, with the regular board meeting to follow. At this forum, the school board will discuss and receive public input on how three- and five-year demographics may impact academic achievement, instructional, administrative, and ancillary staffing, co-curricular or extracurricular programs, facility needs and utilization, district property tax levies, and the district’s strategic plan. The RTHS Student Council & PAWS are sponsoring an end of year event for students in grades 5-12. This will take place from 12:45pm-3:15 pm on the last day of school. All students must have a waiver form signed and brought back to the school in order to participate. Forms were sent home with 5th/6th graders. The Extracurricular Awards Banquet will be held on Monday, May 20th @ 6:00 pm in the RTHS multipurpose room. The Raider Booster Club will be providing the main course. They ask that 8th graders, Freshmen, and Sophomores bring a dessert & juniors, seniors bring a side/salad. Those invited are anyone that would have received a varsity letter (participated at the varsity level) in the following: -Cross Country -Volleyball -Football -Student Congress -One Acts -Girls' Basketball -Boys' Basketball -Speech -State Music, Northwest Music, Northern Plains Music Festival, JH All-State -Track & Field -Rodeo -All Co-op sports with Dickinson High School (Girls' Hockey, Girls' Wrestling, Softball)

The Raider Elementary Football Camp will still be held this evening beginning at 5:30 pm. Please come early if you have not yet registered. If weather is not cooperating, the camp will be held inside the Richardton gym instead of on the football field. Please send kids with gym shoes just in case!

The final elementary VB game of the season will be tomorrow, April 25th in Mott at the armory. It will be a regular volleyball game set up and will not be a triangular. 4th grade will begin at 4:00 followed by 5th grade and then 6th grade on a rolling schedule. The elementary VB team will have a pizza party from 3:30-4:30 pm on Friday, April 26th in the Richardton cafeteria. The 4th graders will be bused over to Richardton after school. Parents/guardians are responsible for arranging transportation for their students to be picked up at RTHS at 4:30 pm once the pizza party is over.

Saturday, April 6th is RTHS Prom. Pictures are from 4:00-5:00 pm and grand march is at 8:30 pm. Doors will open for grand march at 8:00 pm and there is an entrance fee of $3.00/adult.

Friday, April 5th is the Daddy-Daughter Dance in Richardton. Pictures will start at 5:45 pm with grand march at 6:30 pm and dance running until 8:00 pm. Doors will open at 5:30 pm.

Do you have students that participate in school activities? Did you know that you can get paid to attend these activities? The RTPSD is in need of activity bus drivers. As of today, we have 21 scheduled activities with no bus drivers. We have contracted with Harlow's for drivers, however, it is expensive and they have problems finding drivers as well. The RTPSD will pay all training expenses, plus pay you for your time, to become a qualified bus driver. Please consider driving bus for our school district. The elementary volleyball triangular scheduled for Thursday, April 4th in Beach will be just for 5th & 6th grade since Beach does not have a 4th grade team.
