Please view the attached link for information and registration forms for Raider sports skills camps this summer. Registration forms were also sent home with elementary students, and each form includes the grade levels for that specific camp. Volleyball is currently the only skills camp that includes high school students. Information for all other high school summer camps, skills days, and team camps will be sent directly to athletes and parents through ROOMS by their coaches.
Forms may be printed and returned to either school office, or families may stop by either office to pick up a registration form.

Important Message:
Raider families,
School will be released on Wednesday, May 20th at 2:00 PM on our final day before summer break, with buses running at that time for all RTPS students in grades K-12.
Students were informed last week if they qualified for semester test exemptions.
Students may be exempt from finals if they met the following requirements:
• Seniors and juniors may be exempt from all finals. Sophomores may only be exempt from Math and English finals if they have a B- or higher in those courses, PLUS need to meet ALL of the following:
•No more than 5 missed days (40 class periods) during Semester 2
• No suspensions during Semester 2
• No more than 1 detention during Semester 2
• No unexcused absences during Semester 2
The following absences do not count towards the attendance total:
• Medical notes
• Funerals
• Field trips
• Extracurricular activities
• Reasons pre-approved by administration and communicated by students/guardians
• Weather-related absences
Junior and senior students who are exempt from all finals do not need to attend school on Tuesday or Wednesday. Parents do not need to call students out for exempt finals.
Students who are exempt from some finals but still need to take others do not need to be at school during the finals they are exempt from, but they are expected to return for any finals they still need to take. Students are also expected to attend study halls and any other scheduled periods that they are not exempt from unless they are a junior or senior who is exempt from ALL finals and not just some. Seniors may still use senior privileges during study hall periods even if they are taking other finals.
If students leave campus early or are gone during times that they are not exempt, a parent/guardian must call the school to excuse them. Students who would like to remain at school during exempt final periods will have a supervised area available.
Anything students are exempt from does not need to be called in by a parent/guardian.
If a student plans to be gone during finals, it is the student’s responsibility to communicate with teachers ahead of time to arrange early testing if approved. Students are expected to take finals during the scheduled time unless prior arrangements have been made with the teacher.
Please see the attached link for the semester test schedule. 7-12th grade students will be released once lockers are checked by their homeroom teacher and student checkout sheets are turned in.
Please contact the office with any questions. Thank you and have a great summer.
