Update: The AB GBB games against New Salem scheduled for this evening have been postponed to Saturday, February 11th at 2:00 & 3:30. All practices after school this evening have been canceled.

Update:The junior high boys basketball game scheduled for today in Killdeer has been canceled.

The JH BBB game in Hazen tomorrow 1/19/23 will begin at 3:00 MT. There will be AB GBB games when we travel to McIntosh, SD next Tuesday the 24th. JV will begin at 5:00 with varsity to follow.

RTHS Student Council will be putting on a make up movie day tomorrow afternoon during periods 6-8. There will be concessions available for purchase for students in grades 5-12 after lunch so please send money if you would like them to purchase any treats to have during the movie. It will also be pajama day tomorrow for grades 5-12!

Sports Updates: Tonight’s GBB games @ Hazen will be ABC beginning at 3:30 MT. The C squad BBB team will be traveling to Hettinger on Friday the 13th for a tournament. The tournament will continue on Saturday the 14th and games are TBD in either Hettinger or Scranton that day. The AB BBB teams will travel to Max on Saturday the 14th. It will be 2 quarters of JV followed by varsity beginning at 12:00 MT so make sure you are there early since varsity will start earlier than normal. We added C squad GBB games on January 19th & 23rd. Games will begin at 4:00 both nights with JV & Varsity to follow.

Reminder that Rainbow Dancers will begin practice this Sunday, January 8th for all students interested. Group 1 will be grades PreK-2nd from 10:00-11:00 am. Group 2 will be grades 3rd-6th from 11:00 am-12:00. Door 14 will be open in the south parking lot of the Richardton school.

Reminder: The after school archery program will begin this Wednesday, January 4th at 5:30 pm with a parent informational meeting in the tech building at RTHS. It is required to attend this meeting in order for students to participate. It is open for all students in grades 4-12.

JH BBB will practice from 1:00-3:00 next week Monday-Friday in Taylor.

JH BBB practice will be postponed today to 1:00 in Taylor for those who are able to attend since the roads are still closed this morning. If the roads aren’t clear before then, we will send an update canceling it all together.

Sports Update: There will be no practices allowed today due to no travel advised. JH BBB will have an additional practice for those who are around and able to attend tomorrow, December 23rd from 9:00-11:00 am in Taylor.

The Boy’s Roughrider tournament scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed. Day 2 Roughrider games will now be played on two separate dates to get games in, which are Friday the 23rd & Tuesday the 27th both at Trinity. RT will play at 5:00 on Tuesday, December 27th. Day 3 of the Roughrider will be played on Saturday, December 31st at Trinity with times TBD. The AB GBB games vs Heart River tomorrow have also been postponed. They have been moved to December 29th. The 29th will now be a Double Header with the following schedule: 2:00 JV girls 3:30 JV boys 5:00 Varsity girls 6:30 Varsity boys

There will be an opportunity for students to participate in an after school archery program again this winter/spring for students in grades 4-12. Please see the attached photo on the RT website for more information.

Sports Updates: The games scheduled for tomorrow with Solen will now be played on January 16th. JV girls will play at 4:00 with varsity boys to follow. Since Solen girls forfeited their varsity season, we have added an AB GBB game vs Wilton at home on February 9th beginning at 4:30. The boys Roughrider Day #2 will be played at Trinity on Thursday, December 22nd. Our HS boys game that was scheduled with Heart River on the 22nd will now be played on December 29th at 4:30 & 6:00. We are still waiting to hear on a date for day #3 of the boys roughrider tourney. The HS girls will still play Heart River at home AB games beginning at 4:30 this Thursday, December 22nd.

Sports Update: Tonight’s AB GBB games vs New Salem have been postponed until January 26th. The Varsity Boys Roughrider Tournament is postponed until next week. They are still trying to finalize all three dates that the tournament will be played. The Raiders will play Bowman County on Monday, December 19th at 4:30 at Trinity. The JH GBB tourney in South Heart this weekend has been canceled. We will update you with any future changes as we receive more information.
