There will be an opportunity for students to participate in an after school archery program again this winter/spring for students in grades 4-12. Please see the attached photo on the RT website for more information.
Sports Updates:
The games scheduled for tomorrow with Solen will now be played on January 16th. JV girls will play at 4:00 with varsity boys to follow.
Since Solen girls forfeited their varsity season, we have added an AB GBB game vs Wilton at home on February 9th beginning at 4:30.
The boys Roughrider Day #2 will be played at Trinity on Thursday, December 22nd. Our HS boys game that was scheduled with Heart River on the 22nd will now be played on December 29th at 4:30 & 6:00.
We are still waiting to hear on a date for day #3 of the boys roughrider tourney.
The HS girls will still play Heart River at home AB games beginning at 4:30 this Thursday, December 22nd.
Sports Update:
Tonight’s AB GBB games vs New Salem have been postponed until January 26th.
The Varsity Boys Roughrider Tournament is postponed until next week. They are still trying to finalize all three dates that the tournament will be played. The Raiders will play Bowman County on Monday, December 19th at 4:30 at Trinity.
The JH GBB tourney in South Heart this weekend has been canceled.
We will update you with any future changes as we receive more information.

-Tomorrow’s JH GBB game in Beulah has been canceled.
-The HS BBB Roughrider Tournament that was supposed to begin tomorrow has been postponed to Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Our BBB game will begin at 6:00 MT on Friday evening at Trinity.

Anyone (students, parents, fans) attending the Varsity Girls Basketball Roughrider tournament in Killdeer today or Thursday (December 6 & 8), please read the following:
With the tournament, we run into some logistical bus drop off issues. If your team plays in the 3 or 4:30 game and fans arrive between 2:50 and 3:30:
Parking around the time of the first game will be limited, as we will have parents picking kids up. Please be careful when pulling into the lot with young kids around the 3:00 time frame.
Do not park on the south side of the school during this time, as that is a bus zone for the elementary.

The JH GBB game tomorrow, December 6th will now be played in Glen Ullin beginning at 5:00 MT with the 7th grade game and 8th grade game to follow.

The elementary BBB end of season pizza party has been moved to Monday, December 5th after school in Taylor.
The Junior High GBB game scheduled for tomorrow, December 2nd in Mott will now be played in Elgin with a 4:00 start time.
Reminder for students in grades 5-12 to bring items for the RTPS Student Council food drive. We will continue to collect items through the Christmas concert on December 5th.
The class that brings the most items will receive a pizza party!
Tonight’s elementary boys & junior high girls basketball games have been postponed to November 22nd.
The games will be played at the same times beginning at 3:00 and all games will be played in Richardton.
There will be no practices after school this evening.
There has been a change for Thursdays basketball games. Due to a lack of officials, both Elementary boys & JH girls will play their games in Richardton on 11/17/22.
The schedule will look like this:
3:00-4th/5th grade boys vs Mott
4:00-6th grade boys vs Mott
5:00-7th grade girls vs Killdeer
6:00-8th grade girls vs Killdeer
4th graders will be shuttled over in time for the game.
The elementary boys basketball tournament scheduled for November 19th in Killdeer has been canceled due to their new gym floor not being game ready in time & their other gym being booked for another event.
There will not be practices today, November 11th in Richardton or Taylor.
The Richardton-Taylor Public School is releasing school today at 3:15pm. All practices and any other school activities are cancelled. CCD for elementary and high school is also cancelled. School cancelled for tomorrow November 10, 2022. Busses will not run. All games, practices, and activities cancelled tomorrow as well. This is a snow day. No virtual learning on November 10, 2022.

The student council is going organize a food drive for Caring Hearts.
Students in grades 5-12 can bring non-perishable food items, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels Kleenex), cleaning supplies, and/or personal hygiene products.
Please bring all products in original packaging. The class that collects the most donated items will win a pizza party.
We will start taking donations immediately and will continue to take donations up until the HS Christmas Concert on December 5th.
