Tomorrow, October 31st, the RTHS Student Council will be putting on fun Halloween activities. Please view on the attached link to view the poster.

All Pre-K-4th grade students will be bussed over to Richardton tomorrow morning around 9:45 am to join the 5th & 6th graders in a parade through the classrooms and receive candy & other Halloween treats from the 7-12th grade students. Bags will be provided for each student, and all candy/treats are peanut free! The elementary students will be back to Taylor by lunch time. The student council have pre-made goodie bags for the afternoon Preschoolers since the parade is in the morning.
In the afternoon, there will be a dodgeball tournament for the 5-12th graders, along with a costume contest put on by the student council members. 5th & 6th graders will be mixed up on teams and participate against each other & 7-12th graders will be put into a bracket for a double elimination tournament for those who want to participate.
Put on your best costumes (no weapons or fake blood allowed & masks only allowed during the parade) and be ready to have some fun! Happy Halloween from RTHS Student Council!

There will no longer be 4th grade quarters for the EL BBB games this Friday, November 1st in Taylor due to Glen-Ullin Hebron no longer having the numbers to be able to play extra quarters. It will be one full 5th grade game, followed by one full 6th grade game on November 1st in Taylor beginning at 4:00 MT.
Monday, November 4th EL BBB games in New England will also be for 5th & 6th grade only beginning at 4:00. We will keep you updated if this changes.
Bank of North Dakota will be putting on a virtual FAFSA Presentation for our junior & senior students and their parents on November 13th, 2024, from 5:00-6:00 pm. We will have the presentation playing at the school in Mrs. Dohrmann's room for you to attend in person. If you can't make it in person, please register at the following link and you can join in from work/home. If you register and can't join at the scheduled time, you will receive a recording of the presentation 24 hours later.
We would love to have the majority of you join in person if possible.
Reminder, you only need to register if you CAN NOT make it in person. You will have a chance to ask questions during the presentation.

Here is an update for next week's EL BBB games:
Monday 10/28 vs. South Heart @TRE will be 2 quarters 4th grade followed by a full 5th grade and full 6th grade game beginning at 4:00pm.
Tuesday 10/29 @Mott Armory will be 3 full games beginning at 4:00pm.
Friday 11/1 vs G-U Hebron @TRE will be 2 quarters 4th grade followed by a full 5th grade and full 6th grade game beginning at 4:00pm.
Saturday 11/2 will be 5th and 6th grade tournament at South Heart. Bus leaves RTHS at 7:45am. 4th graders will not travel for this tournament.

JH VB practice tonight will be in Richardton from 3:30-5:00.
The JH VB bus will leave tomorrow from Richardton at 8:00 am for the 8th grade tourney in South Heart.
Update: The HS FB game scheduled for next Friday, October 11th in Beach will now begin at 4:00 MT due to official shortages.
School pictures were taken today at the Richardton School for grades 5-12th grade. All students were given an order information sheet to take home with them from Jacobson Photography. Please use the information sheet to order your school pictures.
The JV FB game scheduled for tonight in New Salem has been cancelled. JH FB will still play at 4:00 MT in New Salem this evening.
Jacobson Photography will be taking school pictures at the Richardton School on October 2nd and at Taylor on October 3rd.
Both Elementary GBB & JH VB practices have been canceled for this evening, September 27th.
The 7th grade VB team will leave for their tourney in Bowman at 7:30 am from RTHS tomorrow morning.
The JV football game scheduled for tonight in Hettinger has been canceled. The JH football team will still travel to Hettinger for their game beginning at 4:30 MT.

JH VB & EL GBB will not practice tomorrow, September 20th. HS VB will now practice in the morning from 6:00-7:30 am.
The Elementary GBB game scheduled for Monday, September 23rd in Taylor has been cancelled. The EL GBB team will practice from 3:30-5:00 @ TRE on Monday.
The ABC VB games in Killdeer on Tuesday, September 24th will now begin at 4:00 MT.
