The JH VB games in Killdeer this evening will begin at 4:00 at the Killdeer High School. There will be 3 games played.
The JH/JV FB teams will play their first home game today in Richardton beginning with JH at 4:30 followed by JV.
The JH football game tonight in Beach has been postponed. We are looking for a make up date, and will update everyone if we find one.
The JV football game scheduled for tomorrow in Hettinger has been canceled.
The JH FB team will still travel to Beach for their game tomorrow.

Homecoming class hallway decorating for grades 7-12 can be done tonight at 5:00 pm in Richardton, or tomorrow after school. Voting will happen on Wednesday.
Tomorrow's dress up day is "Dress Your Age" for 7-12 & Jersey day for 5/6th graders.

Raider Homecoming 2023 is next week, September 5th-8th! We will send out reminders for dress up days over the long weekend.
If you are interested in ordering a 2023 Raider homecoming t-shirt, please check the school website for information on how to do so.
5-12th graders will have the option to have them signed by the football & volleyball varsity teams at the "Meet the Raiders" event for homecoming in the afternoon on Friday, September 8th.
We will have rosters of each team printed as well, so those who do not have a shirt will have the chance to get those signed by the players.
The elementary GBB game scheduled for September 1st against Belfield will now be played in Fairfield beginning at 4:00.
The Raider Booster Club invites anyone that is interested in becoming a member to their upcoming meeting on Wednesday August 30th, 6pm at RTHS.
The Raider Booster Club is a non-profit volunteer organization that supports, sponsors and promotes student activities, athletic programs and improvements.

The JH/JV FB games on Monday, August 28th will be played "scrimmage/jamboree style". Both the JH & JV teams will begin at 4:30 in Mott. Please see attached image on the school website for more detailed schedule.
Sports updates:
Come support the Raider FB team tomorrow for their first home football game of the season. Kickoff is at 6:00 MT. Admission will be $7 for adults and $5 for students.
If you are wanting to buy an activity pass, call the school and we will prepare one for you. They will not be sold at the first football game so please call ahead!
Practice changes:
-JH VB will practice at RTHS from 5:30-6:30 pm on 8/25 & 8/28 instead of at TRE.
-JH VB will practice at RTHS from 3:30-5:00 pm on 8/29 & 9/1 instead of at TRE.
-HS VB will practice from 6:00-7:30 am on 9/1 at RTHS instead of after school.
Update: There will be a trap club parent meeting next Tuesday August 29th @ 6:30 PM at the Taylor trap club for all students in grades 6-12 interested in shooting in the fall trap league.

High school volleyball, JH volleyball, and Cross country begin practice tomorrow, August 14th.
Elementary GBB begins practice Wednesday, August 16th.

All athletes in grades 4-12 need a physical completed before they are allowed to participate in practices.
Until school begins on August 23rd, parents/guardians are responsible to transport kids to practices. Once school begins, we will have a shuttle from Richardton to Taylor for after school practices.

Internet issues have been resolved.
RT High School is experiencing internet issues since last Friday. The phones are not working, so when you call you will get a busy signal. We are working hard to get these issues resolved. Thank you for your consideration and patience while we are working on this.
Reminder: Class of 2024’s ”Colors for Cancer” color run is coming up on August 11th. Check in will be at 5:30 MT in the RTHS parking lot. It’s a 5k so people are welcome to run/walk! The run starts at 6pm with a Burger & Hotdog social open to the community after the race.
Pre- Registration is open until the day of the race but the T-Shirt deadline is today so get them while you can at the link below!

RTPS is excited to announce that we have officially started our own cross country program.
Practices will begin on August 14th. Practice times will be announced soon, once schedules are complete.
