HS VB will be having morning practice tomorrow 9/13 from 6:00-7:30 am. JH VB will practice after school from 3:30-5:00 @ RTHS.
The RTHS C- squad volleyball team will play at Dickinson High School on Tuesday, September 10th beginning at 5:45 pm. They will play two games back-to-back against DHS freshmen teams.
DHS Freshmen team will come to Richardton on September 19th to play against our C-squad at 4:00 since New England only has enough girls for AB teams. Our JV & Varsity will play against New England following the C-squad game vs. DHS that evening.
Fall sports pictures will be done during school on September 24th in Richardton beginning at 1:00 for grades 7-12. JH & HS: football, cross country, and volleyball will have pictures that day. The HS VB games in Belfield tomorrow, September 5th will now be AB only beginning at 5:30 pm. Belfield does not have enough players to play a C squad game.
The JH VB jamboree in Killdeer this evening begins at 4:00, however we are scheduled for the second game of the jamboree which will begin at approximately 4:50 pm at the Killdeer High School.

There will be a Trap Club parent meeting tonight at the Taylor Trap Club at 5:30 for anyone grades 6-12 interested in shooting trap this fall.
9-12 grade VB parents: Join the HS VB team this Thursday from 5:20-5:45.
Parents are welcome to come watch the last 10 mins of practice and then have a chance to meet the coaches and go over what to expect this VB season from 5:30-5:45!
R-T will have the annual bus workshop this Wednesday Aug 28, 2024 starting at 5:00 pm. If you drive any school vehicle this is mandatory training. Please call with questions.

HS VB will practice 3:30-5:30 Monday & Thursday, 5:00-7:00 on Tuesday & Wednesday, and 6:00 am-7:30 am on Friday this week all @ RTHS.
The Richardton-Taylor Public School District is in need of a route bus driver. A class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements are required. We will train the right individual to receive the required licensing . The pay would be between $21-$25/hour and is part time. Friday, August 16th HS FB will practice 6:30-9:00 am with no evening practice.
JH VB first practice will be moved to 5:30-6:30 pm @ RTHS on Monday, August 19th following the RTPS open house.

High School Football begins today August 8th
Cross Country for students grades 6-12 begins Monday, August 12th.
JH Football begins on Thursday, August 15th.
High School Volleyball & JH Volleyball both begin on Monday, August 19th.
Elementary Girls Basketball for grades 4-6 begins on Tuesday, August 20th.

Remember that all students in grades 4-12 need concussion forms & physical forms turned into the office or coaches before they are allowed to practice. Students grades 7-12 also need to read, sign, and return their Code of Conduct forms, along with paying their sports fees. All forms will be available today & tomorrow during registration at the school.

Mini Raiders Basketball Camps will be held in Richardton this summer. The Mini Girls’ camp will be June 17th-19th & the Mini Boys’ Camp will be July 10th-12th. Please see the attached links for more information. You will be able to register the first day of camp or can drop off fees & registration forms off at the RTHS front office.

There will be a volleyball camp offered by our RTPS volleyball coaches on June 26th & 27th in Richardton. Please view the attached link for more information. There are sessions available for students entering grades K-12. You can drop off forms at the RTHS office or bring them/fill them out the first day of camp.

The Richardton-Taylor School Board invites the public to participate in a school demographic planning meeting in accordance with NDCC 15.1-07-26. This open public meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 6:30 PM at Richardton-Taylor High School, with the regular board meeting to follow. At this forum, the school board will discuss and receive public input on how three- and five-year demographics may impact academic achievement, instructional, administrative, and ancillary staffing, co-curricular or extracurricular programs, facility needs and utilization, district property tax levies, and the district’s strategic plan.
